About our Program
The Administrative program provides services in the areas of
strategic planning, community development, financial management, and
technical assistance. We are presently working on two Neighborhood
Preservations Plans (NPP) - The Greater Shiloh Commons and KingsWood,
with the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) as part of
our focused commitment to neighborhood revitalitization. Salem Housing
is also implementing a facade improvement project the
Pasadena / M. L. King Avenue Business District.
The goal of this
project is to help to stabilize the business district and to
help attract neighbors and potential new customers.
We were successful at diversifying our funding sources, creating new
financing for our housing program, increasing administrative support,
improving our financial accounting system, and forging new partnerships.
